Taylor Ermolov

A generalist software engineer and computing enthusiast.

I’m drawn to the near-infinitely replicable nature of software, especially in systems that bring novel uses to hardware already in the hands of users. My aim is to deliver accessible applications to the masses without neglecting the rights of privacy, ownership of data, and freedom of communication.

I organize my work through the lens of user experience first, technology stacks second, and thrive in open-ended environments as an owner and leader. To this end, I enjoy developing new applications just as much as maintaining, re-envisioning and upgrading legacy systems to meet new goals.

I'm most passionate about high-human-impact applications of software, especially in healthcare. I co-founded Denture Care Shop, a dental technology startup which reduced denture prices by 70%. By combining leading edge digital dentistry technology with a novel distributed telehealth model, we provided access to critical care for over 600 patients who could not afford the prohibitively expensive traditional methodology.

More recently, I've applied my interest in amplifying human communication and organization capabilities as Technical Lead at LASSO, which provides an end-to-end platform for live event companies to streamline operations.
